Makgeolli Toner

House of Dohwa Makgeolli Toner is a toner inspired by a centuries-old tradition: rice fermentation. Makgeolli, the iconic Korean rice wine, is known for its richness in vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants. This toner harnesses that process to transform the skin, making it more luminous, hydrated, and elastic from the very first application.

Its viscous texture softens and envelops the skin without leaving a sticky feeling. This density is intentional: it helps the ferments and humectants penetrate better, providing deep and long-lasting hydration. Ideal for dull or dry skin that needs an immediate boost of moisture. The true stars are the Galactomyces and Saccharomyces/Rice Ferments. Highly valued in K-beauty, these ingredients improve brightness and elasticity.
