Its effective vegan formula contains ingredients scientifically proven to depigment dark spots, including 2.2% tranexamic acid, 3.8% niacinamide (our beauty fave), 3.5% arbutin, 0.5% bisabolol and liquorice extract. This combination is amazing at controlling the skin's melanin production, which is responsible for visibly darkening the skin in some areas. It works in different phases of the dark spot development, from the first barely-there shadows (the kind only you can see because you know your own skin) to visible blemishes. If you purchase multiple products, we recommend not incorporating them all at once into your routine. Every skin is unique, and to properly assess tolerance, it's important to introduce the products gradually. This allows you to observe how your skin reacts to each one and ensure that the ingredients are well accepted. Avoiding abrupt changes in your routine helps prevent potential irritations or adverse reactions.
Ideally, apply morning and evening to the entire face or localised areas. Wait until fully absorbed and then continue with your ritual. Remember to always apply sunscreen as part of your morning routine!
This product is compatible with most ingredients in your routine, except for retinol or high-concentration acids. We recommend alternating this treatment with your retinol or high-concentration acid products (i.e. using them every other day instead of applying them in the same routine).
Some tips:
If your skin has hyperpigmentation spots from the sun, apply after your morning and evening cleanse, ideally following an antioxidant serum such as Meisani Glow Drops Vitamin C Serum, to boost its effectiveness. If your dark spots are due to pimples, apply after the antioxidant serum and before your usual moisturiser. You can apply it over your whole face or focus only on the most problematic areas.
