If you're familiar with the eye cream and anti-aging essence from Benton's Fermentation line, you won't be surprised — the secret is in its formula. This mask contains adenosine, a powerful anti-aging ingredient that treats and prevents wrinkles, spots and the oh-so dreaded sagging skin; panthenol (or pro-vitamine B5) to moisturise and restore the skin's barrier function; aloe vera to soothe it; as well as ceramide NP and hyaluronic acid to nourish it. But there's more! The mask actually gets its name from its three main ingredients: its high-grade fermentation ingredients. One is the Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, a nutrient-rich ferment that improves the texture of the skin, reducing fine expression lines while brightening and evening out the tone; another, Bifida Ferment Lysate, is obtained by growing bifidobacteria (yes, the one in those yogurts!), which provides protein, vitamins and minerals to keep the microflora in your skin healthy; while the Lactobacillus ferment, which is naturally present in the body and has been enriched with collagen for it to ferment and to increase skin penetration. Its slightly acidic pH is similar to that of healthy skin, so it will protect its barrier function, and the mask is made from a gentle cotton and cellulose mix, so it perfectly adheres to the face. This allows you to observe how your skin reacts to each one and ensure that the ingredients are well accepted. Avoiding abrupt changes in your routine helps prevent potential irritations or adverse reactions.
Apply the mask on the face and carefully slide your fingers over it to remove the wrinkles that the fabric forms. Disconnect and relax. Is your moment! Let it act for ten minutes and remove it. You can spread the rest of the serum in the container on the neck, décolleté, arms and hands. Koreans use a tissue mask every day, so we recommend doing it at least twice a week.
